Get ready for an Irish soul revolution!

My wife and I saw the show last night (8th September 2015) we were absolutely "blown away." The story was fast paced, the cast were brilliant and the songs kept coming one after another, a truly wonderful experience. I strongly urge everyone to see this show...you won't be disappointed !!!

Saw the show last night. Absolutely feckin brilliant!! The whole cast superb but stand out performance from Brian as Decko with the unbelievable voice. So much energy and talent from start to finish had us dancing and singing along and front row was just great. I want to go again! Thanks for a memorable night.

A great show, very funny and the music was great. I will not hesitate in going to see it again, if it goes to Scotland.

Very, very good show...but where are all of the songs from the actual film? What's the point in it being a musical about the film when they don't sing hardly any of the songs!

just came back from watching The Commitments in London it has to be without doubt the best show I've seen EVER the music was amazing wonderful acting across the board just perfect.

The Commitments is possibly the best show I've seen. Such a good feel good vibe in the theatre. Cast was great, singing phenomenal! Loved it.

Just been to see this for the first time this afternoon. What a brilliant show, great acting, cracking tunes, and the cast were superb. Would definitely recommend this show, the whole audience were up singing and dancing by the end, it was fantastic. I'm booking to go back as soon as possible!

Fantastic show, came over from Norway for a nice weekend in London. Had a great weekend and this show was an experience to remember for a long time. Hugely impressed by the talented cast.

Saw show today, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Must admit haven't seen a lot of theatre shows, but this is top of my list, recommend this - Fantastic.

West End Palace Theatre, Friday 9th October 2014. Congratulations to all involved. The show was fantastic. As a Dublin girl and a Northsider I loved the show. Well done to all and enjoy the West End.

The plot is trite and has been done many times before only far better. The lead singer character is rude and crude and a very unsympathetic character. Every second sentence includes swear words or sexual innuendo neither of which is at all necessary. That said, the music portion is extremely well done and enjoyable. I esp liked the "preacher" a good actor and horn player. It might be best if this production was only music and no dialogue!!

What an experience! This show was one of the highlights of our visit to London!

3rd June 2014, saw The Commitments at the Palace Theatre... absolutely fantastic show, fabulous cast, one of the best shows I have ever seen! The Palace Theatre is truly beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Great night out!

Great! The songs were sung really well and I loved the set design. The story line is a bit thin but characters and music made it a really enjoyable evening.

Really brilliant. Can't stop singing the real soul stuff from my youth.

We went for my husband's birthday last week. We got seats in the stalls, unfortunately I didn't see the "restricted viewing" when I purchased my tickets. I only noticed this on delivery of tickets. That said, the view was still very good, there was only a small corner of the stage, we could not see. Not disappointed at all. Now for the show, well it started with a WOW!!! Which continued right through to the end. The lead singer is amazing he has an extremely big range and is effortless when he sings. The acting by all the cast was spot on. Not overacted like you sometimes see at the Theatre. There was lots of humour for all to enjoy, the set was excellent and the costumes were very good too. The cast worked very hard to put on an good show, and it showed, they all looked like they enjoyed their work and we came away thinking "outstanding!" Favourite moment: The last 10 minutes or so. The whole auditorium were on their feet dancing singing and clapping along. The atmosphere was truly amazing!

We came to London on Saturday to see the Commitments. Oh boy what a show, fantastic. If you want a good show with a great cast then you must see this. Killian Donnelly as Deco is just out of this world and his voice and the passion with which he sings is unbelievable. Might even come and see it again.

Just returned from a weekend in the city, saw The Commitments on Friday evening. You can listen to music or you can feel the music, fortunately I have always be able to do both and the show set me alight with live music played at a level rarely available in musicals. The cast are superb, full of SOUL and passion. I would recommend this show to anyone who has a passion for great live music. I will return again in April for another fix of SOUL music. "KEEP THE FAITH " and "DANCE TO THE MUSIC"

Loved it saw it today and it was wonderful lots and lots of songs and lovely theatre.

We saw the show on Saturday 26th October. It was amazing, personally I think it was the best West End show I've seen in the 10 years of annual trips to see a show. Everybody must have thought the same as there was a standing ovation at the end which the cast seemed to be genuinely pleased to see as well. The actor who plays Deco has a voice that does not disappoint and the actor playing the 'doorman' character almost steals the show. A very enjoyable night, we were not disappointed (except if I'd had the choice I'd have paid for seats that weren't quite so "Up in the Gods")

Went to watch "The Commitments" on Thursday the 16/10/13 ,fantastic show,cast,music,the whole show was superb,feel good factor,was touched by the humbleness of the actors,(particularly main singer) to the outstanding reaction by the public, well done all, a must see! Such a beautiful theatre, breath taking craftsmanship!!

Killian Donnelly killed it as Deco in The Commitments tonight. His voice is amazing! Solid show, great music, crowd loved it. The link up with O'Neills pubs is brilliant too... take your show ticket down there to get a free drink 🙂 ... do it after the show because they take the ticket off you.

What a great night! Recommend this to everyone with a soul. Great, enthusiastic acting, brilliant music, and superb sets.

Just seen the play, I was sickened by the racist mantra and ranting of the lead in the first part of the play. It was unnecessary and ruined the show for me. Did the writers get the laughs they desired?? A few giggles from those narrow minded people who think that the use of the word nigger (repeatedly) is appropriate.

Absolutely fantastic. It did not try to replicate the film although I would have liked more of the original songs e.g. chains. The energy from the cast was electric and the playing of instruments on stage bought the whole thing alive unlike some "karaoke" type musicals. Main singer brilliant, all the cast wonderful. I will see it again.

Me and my husband were lucky enough to buy tickets for the Commitments. We didn't realise it was the opening night last night. It was absolutely fantastic. It was funny and full of soul. The performance was full of energy from the start. Brilliant script, brilliant acting and brilliant casting. I bet this show will run and run and I can't wait for the soundtrack.
